Home Helpers Operations Team Earns Senior Care Advisor Credential

August 20, 2008 - “Home Helpers is committed to the clients we serve,” said company president Emma Dickison. Given the fact that many of our clients are age 60 and older, we think it’s especially important for us to have a clear understanding of the financial, health and social issues seniors face. That is why Home Helpers recently offered Certified Senior Care Advisor (CSA) training to its entire operations staff and franchisees at our corporate

headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.”

With 10,000 Americans turning 60 each day, seniors are re-shaping America. At no other time in history has there been such an urgent need for professionals to understand seniors…or for seniors to want the most informed efforts of the professionals they work with.

“America’s aging population want to remain happy and independent for as long as they can,” explained Dickison. “CSA training is just one more way we can help seniors achieve this goal. By adding the CSA designation to our credentials, we can integrate our knowledge of senior issues into our professional practice – to the benefit of our senior clients and ourselves. I’m proud we’ve taken this proactive step to better serve our senior clients.”

The Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) is the fastest growing credentialing organization of its kind. Candidates who successfully complete all designation requirements become CSAs. The SCSA ensures that all CSAs uphold the standards of the CSA Code of Professional Responsibility (monitored by the CSA Board of Standards), fulfill requirements for continuing education, and continue to learn about important issues

facing seniors.
